November marks the start of the Holiday Season, and as gamers everywhere begin to make travel plans, spend time with their families and begin their Holiday shopping, gaming tends to take a back seat. Would gameplay hours begin to suffer versus October? Who were November's winners and losers? Did the games you spend the most time with make the list? Let’s find out with Raptr’s most played PC games for November 2014!

Leading the pack again this month is League of Legends, although it lost over 15% of its playtime from October. With a November victory in the bag, League of Legends has managed to maintain the top spot in Raptr's list for an impressive eight months. Raptr reports that gameplay for the title saw its monthly high near the beginning of November, just after the Halloween sales event wrapped up; however, Raptr also notes that the game's 4.20 update in the latter half of the month likewise affected playtime.

Coming in at number two on the list once again is World of Warcraft, with playtime up a whopping 71% over October. The Warlords of Draenor expansion was responsible for the resurgence, and likely siphoned a sizable amount of playtime from League of Legends. World of Warcraft also celebrated its ten year anniversary with a special event beginning on the 21st of November and running through early January 2015, which could impact playtime in the months to come. Still not able to take the top spot, though, it looks doubtful that any game will be able to break League of Legend's strangle-hold on first place next month.

DOTA 2 holds firmly at the third spot during November, even though it saw a greater than 12% drop in playtime from October, while did Counter-Strike: Global Offensive managed to maintain its spot at number four for the second month in a row in spite of a more than 11% drop in playtime. The only shift in November's top five comes from Smite, which bumped ArcheAge down one spot to number six to claim the fifth spot on the list. Although only accounting for just over 3% of total gameplay hours tracked, Smite saw a less than 1% drop in playtime from October.

AAA titles Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor dropped out of the top twenty as predicted last month. In November, however, a brand new AAA title, Dragon Age: Inquisition jumped all the way up to number ten on the list. It would seem as though the game will have the staying power to last at least another month in the top twenty, considering the amount of gameplay it offers, as well as having been received well by critics.

November's oddity? Spider Solitaire.  Raptr reports that Spider Solitaire made its first return to the list in over a year, seeing playtime peak on November 27th, just one day before Thanksgiving. Did our readers enjoy a rousing game of Spider Solitaire while waiting for dinner to be served? Let us know. And be sure to leave your observations or predictions for next month's list in the comments below!
