You play as Kimchi on a mission to find his owner who finds help from various other internet famous cats along the way. The cats are all instantly recognizable to any internet cat lover and will make you squeal with delight at how well Valhalla Cats have captured the cats unique personalities. There are also caged cats hidden within each level who you have to save. These cats are all real life cat competition winners who wanted to be immortalized in video game history.

The animation of the video game have been drawn frame by frame by Javier Granados, a traditional animator with experience in major studies like Disney and Warner, and the cat animations are pretty spot on. Not only this but Valhalla Cats have taken the time to create downloadable paper cat toys of all of the kitties featured in The Purring Quest previously internet famous or otherwise.
