The fine folks at The Bearded Ladies had a lot of fun with Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, and now they've surprise-announced a brand-new game coming to the Epic Games Store. Get ready for Corruption 2029.

Get a feel for what they're going for by checking out the Corruption 2029 Reveal Trailer:

Unsurprisingly set in the year 2029, something is very wrong in America. People have been corrupted by some kind of nebulous malady, turning them into an unstoppable threat. They're such a massive threat that only a few elite soldiers have the skill and equipment necessary to take them on — and that's where you come in.

Facing these baddies in the open would be madness, and that's why you and your elite squad of units must make use of stealth and subterfuge to eliminate the baddies. Command your squad and take out the threats facing New America! Oh, and there's fire. Did I mention there was fire?
