Whether it's hunting zombie heads or the most dangerous game, Capcom and Tencent have you covered. In December, a tweet on @BIO_OFFICIAL (the Japanese official account for Resident Evil/Biohazard) announced a partnership with PUBG Mobile. It also included a short trailer, which you can watch below.

On February 5, PUBG Mobile's Twitter account posted an announcement, with the words "Only the strong will survive." It depicts zombies surrounding a PUBG character in front of Raccoon City's police station.

For the moment, it appears that this will be exclusively available with the mobile version of PUBG. While it is certainly possible to play PUBG Mobile on your PC with an official emulator, it will require setting up a controller or mouse/keyboard binding. Notes for patch 0.11.0, currently in beta, call the new game mode "Sunset" and features zombies and Bio-Organic Weapons (B.O.W.s) from Resident Evil 2. It is still a timed battle royale mode, but players can earn resources to survive by killing zombies and bosses. This mode takes place exclusively on the Erangel map and features music from RE2.
Whether this means that PUBG content will come to RE2 is uncertain. There is plenty of content in the latter game already, along with the free Ghost Survivors DLC dropping February 15. Players will be able to play one of three scenarios: No Time to Mourn, Runaway, and Forgotten Soldier. Ghost Survivors features characters who did not manage to survive the T-Virus outbreak in Raccoon City. No Time to Mourn drops on the 15, with players assuming the role of Robert Kendo, the gun shop owner.
