PUBG Launches Player Survey on Recent Weapon Balance Changes

PUBG Corp has announced a survey for players to give feedback on the weapon changes recently implemented in PUBG. The new update tweaked the stats of several weapons, in an effort to add more balance to the game. The team explains in a post on Steam that since they have never altered the weapon balancing so drastically before, they are hoping for player feedback via the survey, which will run through for 11 days.

The survey began May 4 at 1 AM EST and will run through until May 14 at 11 AM EST. Player will get a bonus for participating too, they'll be entered for a chance to win two early bird keys. They will be randomly given to 1000 players globally, with the winners announced on Tuesday, May 22. There are some special rules related to the survey which are listed below:

 
 
  • You can only submit this survey once per account. (Only the first submission will count).
  • You will be excluded from winning the prize if you breach the community’s rules of conduct.
  • Announcement schedule for survey result and winner of the prize may be changed.

The twelfth update to version 1.0 of PUBG has drastically altered the way weapons handle in the game, with everything from throwables to guns effected. PUBG has received regular updates since launch, with several new features such as map selection and a brand new third map set to arrive on global servers very soon. The Xbox One version has just received the desert map Miramar in test servers, with it set to launch in the regular servers soon. Stay tuned for more PUBG news as we get it.
