Polyarc has just announced the Moss: Book II release date, and it's coming a lot sooner than what you probably expected: March 31, 2022 for PS VR. Players will interact with new allies, old friends, and pretty new environments that Quill will have to navigate through in order to save her world by ending the rule of the Arcane.
Since the first game, Quill has learned a new skill: climbing. You'll be able to climb vines that grow on walls, and she can now reach high-up ledges, which has allowed Polyarc to crate new platforming challenges for players. There are also new weapons and enemies to use and beat up. There's a massive hammer that Quill finds, so you can do your best Thor voice as you put the hammer down over some unfortunate soul's head.
Oh, and if you're looking for some swag as you count down the days until the Moss: Book II release date, there's also a limited-edition screen-printed poster that players can get off Amazon, which will only ding you $25 and actually looks pretty nice. It's 11”x 17”, comes in four colors, and it captures a "moment", as described by artist Kyle Sauter:
"For this poster I wanted to capture a moment of action frozen in time,” said Sauter. “Quill leaps into battle as a swarm of Arcane enemies close in."
For that price, I'm tempted and I've never played Moss (but I'm a huge fan of Redwall, so anything with fighting mice has me interested) so if this is your thing be sure to get on that before it's gone forever. There are only 250 of them, so it's actually pretty limited instead of the "we made 20,000 of these limited edition bundles" that are technically limited but not really.
Moss: Book II is launching on PS VR on March 31, 2022. For more information on PS VR, Moss, and everything in between, stay tuned to TechRaptor.
