If you've ever wanted to hide in trees and kill super buff dudes, Predator: Hunting Grounds will provide that opportunity. All you need to do is wait for it to come out. Thankfully, this is quite soon, as the game will be launching on April 24th, 2020.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is a 4v1 multiplayer game where four players will get to play normal human soldiers in a first-person shooter as they try to complete objectives against AI opponents. The other player gets to play as a predator, with the game instead becoming a third-person stealth game. The predator will have to use cool tools and abilities to sneak around, trying not to get caught so they can sneakily assassinate their opponents. Eventually, the two sides will fight, and naturally only one can survive in this situation. Either you die or you get to the choppa.
The newest trailer shows several of the classic Predator looks and weapons you know and love. Of course, you have some fun things, like the laser-shooting shoulder gun. You also get throwing discs that you can remote pilot, letting them fly into multiple enemies and tear their limbs off. The trailer also shows off an all-new bow created by the developers, which lets the Predator pin enemies to the wall. It also features a female predator, something we haven't seen in the movies yet. We also learn there are three classes of predators, and you can choose from these three classes to be a speedy silent killer, a hulking brute, or a more balanced warrior. So long as you rip spines out, it's all good.
Predator: Hunting Grounds will launch on PC and PlayStation 4 on April 24th, 2020.
