Potionomics is one of those weird simulators that you might be really interested in. Announced back in 2020, you'll be able to find out soon enough if this is what you're into with the Potionomics release date announcement. The indie RPG strategy simulator is coming October 17th, where it will be available on Steam for $24.99. There's also a deluxe edition that will be available for $39.99. The latter will include a digital artbook with concept art and character designs, as well as Potionomics' soundtrack. The standard edition will be available for 10% off and the deluxe edition will receive a 15% discount from the Potionomics release date until October 24th.
What can I expect from Potionomics?
Potionomics will have you inheriting your uncle's potion shop along with a huge debt to go with it. As Sylvia, you will learn the art of potion crafting and salesmanship while also encountering allies and adversaries alike. This is while you try to turn your shop into the number-one potion destination in Rafta, a "fantastical island abuzz with crowds of adventurers and powerful magics". This means you'll have to manage deckbuilding, shop management, and Sylvia's stress, which comes with running the store. Trial and error is sometimes a necessity, so don't be afraid to keep trying new things even after a painful setback.
If you'd like to get info straight from the source, be sure to follow Potionomics' Twitter page, and make sure to check out its official website. Don't forget about the Steam page, where you can wishlist the game if you want. The Steam Next Fest runs from October 3rd to October 10th, and you'll be able to see more Potionomics gameplay there as well as trying out a demo, so make sure to mark your calendar if you want to give Potionomics a stir.
