After a few months of speculation, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC has finally been revealed. The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will take you beyond the Paldea region to uncover the truth behind two brand new Legendary Pokemon, and the first part of the DLC is coming later this year, with the second part scheduled for winter.

We learned about The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero during today's Pokemon Presents showcase. The first part of the DLC is titled The Teal Mask, and it will take you to the traditional Japanese-inspired region of Kitakami on a school trip with your fellow students. The second part, The Indigo Disk, takes you to Blueberry Academy as an exchange student.

As you've probably guessed, the DLC will also add new Pokemon that you can't encounter in the main Scarlet and Violet games. The Teal Mask adds Pokemon like Shiftry, Ninetales, and Milotic, while The Indigo Disk brings the likes of Zebstrika, Metagross, and Espurr. Check out the trailer for the new Scarlet and Violet DLC below.

Two new Legendary Pokemon are coming to The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, too. Ogerpon looks like it might be a Grass/Ghost or Grass/Dark type thanks to its leafy appearance and "fearsome mask", while Terapagos has a "glittering aura" that makes it look like it might be a Rock/Fairy Pokemon. Of course, we'll have to wait for more info about these two 'mons before we know for sure.

When you buy the DLC, you can get a new uniform set that lets you wear different outfits, and if you buy the DLC before October 31st, you'll get a Hisuian Zoroark with a Dark Tera Type, the move Happy Hour, and the Charismatic Mark. Make sure to head over to the eShop and make your purchase early if you want these items.

The new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC packs are both slated to arrive later this year, with The Teal Mask set to arrive in fall and The Indigo Disk slated to launch in winter. Stay tuned to TechRaptor for more information about both of these DLC packs and the wider Pokemon franchise. In the meantime, why not take a look at our Pokemon Scarlet and Violet guides so you can optimize your trip through Paldea?
