In Tokyo today, Nintendo held a press conference to announce new updates in the Pokémon franchise. After revealing Pokémon Sleep, Nintendo followed up by showcasing a new piece of hardware: the Pokémon Go Plus+.
The device covers the same functions as the original Pokémon Go Plus. In addition to that, the Plus+ will act on the sleep-related initiative the company has been pushing. The device will track your sleeping habits, offering in-game rewards in the mobile title Pokémon Go.
For those who don't know, the Pokémon Go Plus is a little device with one button and a multicolored LED. It lets you play Pokémon Go without looking at your phone, using the LED's color to tell you what's happening. The Go Plus+ offers the same array of features, with an added bonus of tracking your sleeping habits.
We'll update this story as we learn more about the new device.
