There's a nice surprise for Part 3 of Pokemon Go Fest 2021's Ultra Unlock event! Pokemon Go Galar Pokemon will be making their debut later this month — and yes, there will be some Legendary Pokemon.
As with previous years, Pokemon Go has lined up a bunch of special events for its anniversary through the Pokemon Go Fest. This is the game's fifth anniversary and Niantic has some nice surprises this time around — soon, Trainers will be able to play with some iconic 'mons from Pokemon Sword and Shield.
What's Happening with the Pokemon Go Ultra Unlock Event Part 3?
The Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Event Part 3 is promising some pretty cool stuff, starting with a handful of Pokemon Go Galar Pokemon making their debut in the game. Here are the new Pokemon you can look forward to making their debut later in August 2021:
- Dubwool
- Falinks
- Greedent
- Skwovet
- Wooloo
- Zacian
- Zamazenta
In addition, Trainers might catch the following Shiny variants during this event if they're lucky:
- Shiny Galarian Farfetch'd
- Shiny Galarian Meowth
- Shiny Galarian Stunfisk
- Shiny Galarian Weezing
That's not all that's on the way, though! Skwovet and Wooloo will be appearing more frequently in the wild throughout the event. Additionally, you might be able to get some Pokemon Go Galarian Pokemon by hatching 7km eggs — here's who you can hatch:
- Galarian Darumaka
- Galarian Farfetch'd
- Galarian Meowth
- Galarian Ponyta
- Galarian Slowpoke
- Galarian Stunfisk
- Galarian Zigzagoon
Naturally, there will also be Timed Research and themed Field Research tasks, some of which will give you the opportunity to capture Galarian-exclusive Pokemon; you can read about everything that's on the way in today's announcement.
When is the Pokemon Go Galar Pokemon Release Date?
The Pokemon Go Galar Pokemon release date will be Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time. This event will run until Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 8:00 PM local time.
