PlayStation Plus is Sony's subscription service for its PlayStation consoles. It's needed to play the vast majority of online games on that platform, but it also comes with several other bonuses for your monthly subscription. One of these bonuses is two games added to your collection every month at no additional cost — and we now know the two intense titles coming for September 2020.

First up for the PlayStation Plus September 2020 games is PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, a Battle Royale game that carved out a different path to most titles in the genre. While games like Fortnite went free-to-play right from the beginning, PUBG has always existed as a premium product on PC and consoles.
Since then, PUBG has enjoyed a respectable amount of success around the world. While some Battle Royale games aim for more fantastical elements, PUBG has largely been grounded in realism and it provides a more tactical experience for the discerning shooter enthusiast.

Also on deck this month is Street Fighter 5, a culmination of a franchise stretching back over three decades. This fighter features franchise favorites from across its history along with some new characters, all lovingly rendered in the latest graphics.

Street Fighter 5 PS4 tournaments will be kicking off on the platform starting on September 4, 2020. These are both fantastic games, but a king has already been crowned and it's going to be hard to surpass. Last month saw the release of Fall Guys as one of the August 2020 games and it has now been confirmed as the most-downloaded PS Plus title of all time.
