It's that time of the month again where the PlayStation Plus Essential December 2022 lineup leaks and we all pretend that it's not legit. Are you ready? I sure am, because next month's lineup looks like you'll be getting a decent amount of bang for your buck. To start, we have the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Biomutant, and then Divine Knockout (DKO), which is definitely a video game.

Basically, what I'm trying to say that Divine Knockout is a game that you're going to get next month, and that of all the games available on the PlayStation platform, it's one of them. You're also getting Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Biomutant, so just smile and accept it, OK? OK. Whew. That was a close one.

This guy really likes clubbing.

As for the games themselves, you should know what the Mass Effect trilogy is even if you're the most casual of gamers. However, if you've been living under a rock for the last 15 years, it's a sci-fi RPG trilogy where you enter the shoes of Commander Shepard, who finds themselves in the middle of a vast struggle to save their universe. The Legendary Edition includes all three games, their DLCs, and some visual and gameplay upgrades to make them more palatable for modern audiences.

Biomutant is described as an "open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG." It also has an annoying narrator that you can turn off and beautiful visuals that bely the fact that it's not an AAA title. If you haven't played it, it's definitely worth a download to see if it's up your RPG alley.

Last but not least is Divine Knockout (DKO), which is definitely a video game that can be played, just like the two other titles in this collection. Jokes aside, it advertises itself as the "world’s only 3rd-person platform fighter", which is a weird flex but OK. You choose a God from myth and then go to poundtown as you try and kick your friends off platforms to win. Remember to shout, "this is Sparta!" while doing so or it won't count.
