The PlayStation Plus August 2020 games have been announced! This month's games included with your PS Plus subscription include a classic first-person shooter with some more modern graphics and the latest sensation to hit Twitch — Fall Guys and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered will be provided to all current subscribers during the month of August.
If you're somehow unfamiliar with PlayStation Plus, it's a subscription service for Sony's gaming consoles. The service is required to play multiplayer games over the Internet, but it does give gamers some bonuses as part of the deal. Typically, at least two games are given away to subscribers — and this month has some real bangers.

First up on deck is Fall Guys, a game that's more or less a hilarious mix of MXC or Wipeout with a dash of Battle Royale thrown in. Dozens of players are dropped into an obstacle course in an attempt to be the last man standing. Of course, the traps are hilariously unfair and everything devolves into chaos in about seventeen seconds.
Fall Guys enjoyed a measure of popularity when it ran a beta over the weekend. As Twitch statistics website SullyGnome shows, Fall Guys enjoyed a viewership peaking at nearly 200,000 on Twitch spread across over 500 channels. Not bad for a game that isn't even scheduled to launch until next month.

That's not all that's coming this month, mind — the PlayStation Plus August 2020 games also includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, a remake of the second episode of the original Modern Warfare trilogy.
While this lacks the classic multiplayer experience — you'll have to buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for the best current multiplayer experience — you will get to play through a thrilling campaign that takes you all over the United States and the world. The campaign has you fighting invading Russian troops in Washington D.C. and the suburbs, basically making this Red Dawn: The Video Game in the best of ways.
These two PlayStation Plus August 2020 games are just two titles in a long line of bonuses given out to subscribers over the years.
