Back at PSX 2016 we were treated to the revel of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite and it's free-form 2v2 team battles. Tonight during their press conference at E3 2017, Sony revealed the upcoming game's story mode.
The trailer showed off a bunch of characters including Mega Man, Chun-Li, Thanos, Dante, & Rocket Raccoon! The story mode looks like it will feature the charm of the Lego Marvel games mixed with the combat of Street Fighter as the character team up to stop Ultron Sigma. If you want to check it out for yourself, a story demo is available now!
Infinite will be the sixth main entry in the Marvel vs. Capcom series of games. Fans of the series have been clamoring for the return of the X-Men, but as of now, the only Marvel characters revealed are from the cinematic universe.
In this video, Peter 'Combofiend' Rosas from Capcom breaks down the control scheme while he shows off a bit of the game.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will release on September 19th for Xbox One, PS4, & PC.
