Much like last years PlayStation Conference we are treated with a musical piece at the top of the show. With instruments like Sitars and an impressive water feature on stage a new trailer for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is shown. From Naughty Dog this trailer showcases some of the incredible and breathtaking landscapes that will be coming into the stand alone title following Chloe and Nadine.

Horizon The Frozen Wilds Header

From water to the tundra as snow starts falling in the theater. The next trailer shown is for new DLC coming to Guerilla Game's Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. This DLC will come out in 2017.

Quickly transitioning to Days Gone we see the main character out on a rescue mission before the night sets in. Along his motorcycle ride he runs into zombies, wolves, and even other human survivors trying to use their numbers against him. During his hunt for Manny he locates his motorcycle and uses a sense ability to track where he has wandered off to. As he heads through the woods he sees strange sights like zombies strung up in trees before eventually coming to a base camp. Using traps, stealth, and sounds he's able to navigate his way through this enemy camp. In this title you'll be able to take on the horde yourself, or use it against your enemies triggering them in a number of ways. The trailer cuts off just as we're introduced to a zombie bear.

Shawn Layden takes to the stage talking about the past number of months being the most creative in terms of games and that the rest of the year will be no different. He also talks about live.playstation.com being a portal to learn all you can about what PlayStation has in store.

Monster Hunter World Header

Welcoming back games the next title we get to see has a man clad in armor wielding a large sword making his way through a jungle collecting samples and tracking down all kinds of creatures before finally coming up against a large dinosaur like creature. The trailer ends with the announcement of Monster Hunter World for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a PC release coming later on. This title will be releasing early 2018.

Shadow of the Colossus Header

Next Japan Studios shows off a remastering of Shadow of the Colossus for the PlayStation 4. Unlike the previous HD version this one seems to be built from the ground up. This will be coming in 2018 as well.

Hearing more about a previously announced title Marvel vs Capcom Infinite gets a new trailer showing Gamora and Thanos talking with one another in Avengers tower. It seems the search for the Infinity Stones is the plot for this fighting game. This title will release on the 18th of September and a story demo will be available as of today.

Taking a turn to a more realistic title we now head to the front lines of war as a trailer for Call of Duty: WWII is shown. In this trailer, we see the up close and gritty nature of combat in war-torn cities. This title will release November 3rd and is now available for pre-order and pre-download.

Skyrim VR Header

Moving onto VR titles we see Skyrim will be getting PlayStation VR support. In this trailer, we see the Dragonborn fight hordes of enemies and change between weapons and spells almost instantly. The next VR game shown takes place in outerspace as a sidescrolling adventure while not much more was revealed about the game we do know it will be called Star Child, no release date was announced with the trailer. Supermassive Games are next to show off a VR title with a horror game set in the Sanitorium from Until Dawn, this title will be called The Inpatient. More Final Fantasy XV for VR was next on the block showing off VR fishing in Monsters of the Deep. Shooter fans will be happy to know that they are also getting some love from PlayStation VR in Bravo Team a squad based tactical shooter. Returning to the realm of fantasy we next see a mouse dressed with a tiny sword and backpack. In this game you use your motion controls to move the environment and aid the mouse. This game will be called Mossand features the mousey protagonist Quill.

God of War Header

Returning back to the PlayStation 4 proper we see Kratos arriving by boat to a strange island, it is here that he then throws his axe off into the water for some reason. We then hear Kratos being jeered by an unknown voice on his past exploits while we see a mural of him on a vase drawn in a greek style. Through the trailer we see the traditional God of War combat style with Kratos wielding a variety of weapons including his axe and a spear. As we don't see him with his traditional twin blades it may be that this returning axe is his new weapon of choice. This game will release Early 2018.

Continuing with highly anticipated games we next see a trailer for Detroit. In this trailer, we see the night that there was a plan to free all the other cyberlife sitting on display. In this trailer, we hear complaints of how they've been treated and how their aim is to bring equality to their people. After freeing the other androids it's then that we see chaos stir as androids riot through the streets. At the end of the trailer after one of the androids has been killed we then see the kinds of decision trees that you'll be able to make as you play through the game.

Destiny 2 Header

Destiny 2 is next to be shown as we see the Cabal attack the Tower on earth and the Traveller. With the Traveller's light gone the guardians are now susceptible to death. The trailer also shows off new environments and weapons. As with Destiny there will be an exclusive strike, gear, an exotic, and a PvP map.

Spiderman PS4 Header

Shawn Layden returns to the stage asking the audience to breath. Before wrapping up the conference he welcomed the audience to watch a trailer for a "true PlayStation exclusive". With that, we're taken to New York City where we see Spider-Man swing through the concrete jungle. For our first look at gameplay of the upcoming title we see Spider-Man taking on the Demons, a triad group working under Mr Negative. We learn through the trailer that Spider-Man is on the search for the boss of the Demons, the trailer continues with a fight against a heavy enemy having to use his speed and countering to get the upper hand. As the trailer continues we see Spider-Man tailing Mr. Negative's helicopter through the city eventually capturing him. This title will be releasing in 2018.

What did you think of Sony's PlayStation E3 Conference? What game are you most looking forward to? Are there any titles that you feel you missed out on, and why is it Spyro HD?
