A Play NYC 2019 Games For Change partnership has been announced. For the very first time in the convention's history, Playcrafting has partnered with Games For Change to bring 10 titles to a special space on the show floor.
Among the titles included in the 10x20 space are GRIS, Nintendo Labo, and eight other titles. Here's what you can expect to see as part of this upcoming gaming convention on August 10–11, 2019, in New York City!

GRISA singing woman loses her voice. In GRIS, you must navigate through a beautifully-painted world to recover it. One of the most artistic puzzle platformers released in recent memory and the winner of our 2018 Best Visuals Award, GRIS is a melancholy tale that's well worth playing.
Nintendo LaboTake your Nintendo Switch, put together a bit of cardboard, and make silly controllers that you can use to play some even sillier games. A lot of us played with homemade toys when we were a kid, but Nintendo somehow managed to take the concept in an entirely new direction with Nintendo Labo.
Discovery TourThe Assassin's Creed games are jam-packed with beautiful depictions of history. Discovery Tour takes you into these worlds and teaches you about the setpieces where so many of us have had so much fun.
TendarTendar is all about Guppy, a virtual pet that is fed by emotions. Using the face cam on your phone, you can interact with Guppy, sustain him, and help him grow!
HomestayHomestay is a game about a beautiful pop-up garden, loss, and cultural symbols.
PrismPrism is a game that's meant to help children ages 8–10 empathize with their peers who have autism or are otherwise neurotypical through a beautiful 3D adventure.
PacifAIPacifAI is a student project all about an artificial intelligence that flies around a city trying to make people's lives better.
On Thin Ice!On Thin Ice! is a game where you can play as a penguin. Walking is slow. That's why there's also a button to slide on your belly!
The Issue of Gender Equality in STEAMNo, this doesn't have anything to do with Valve's online store. The Issue of Gender Equality in STEAM is text-based adventure made in Twine about the subject of gender equality in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
UNICEF Kid PowerUNICEF Kid Power is a game that's all about getting kids to get up, move around, and help people out.
There are certainly a lot of interesting projects in the mix here! You'll be able to see these games and dozens more at Play NYC in Manhattan on August 10–11, 2019. Grab your tickets now at the official Play NYC website!
