Manhattan's premier dedicated gaming convention is finally returning to New York City this weekend! Play NYC 2019 will be featuring 130 exhibitors, many of whom are right from the Tri-State area!

If you haven't been to Play NYC yet, you're missing out on a great opportunity to check out a bunch of great games in person in this event presented by Playcrafting. Over a hundred indie developers (and some bigger studios, too!)  descend onto Manhattan and bring playable versions of video games and tabletop games for players to enjoy for two days of fun!

This year's show will feature a number of interesting sights to see. The Bose AR-cade will be debuting ten hands-free augmented-reality games as part of a yearlong alliance between Bose and Playcrafting. Five "Graffiti Games" will be bringing unique experiences created by LGBTQ+ developers that you won't likely see anywhere else. And if you'd like to get a bit competitive, there will also be some gaming tournaments taking place throughout the show!

It won't just be the smallest devs making a showing at Play NYC 2019, either. Devolver Digital will be showing off Heave Ho, a physics-based game that has you and up to three of your friends trying their best not to fall to their death! The "Games For Change" island will also feature titles from Ubisoft, Devolver Digital, Nintendo, and several other developers.

Play NYC 2019 will be taking place on August 10–11, 2019, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. Here's the address:

Metropolitan Pavilion 125 W 18th Street New York, NY 10011

If you'd like to attend Play NYC 2019, you can get tickets at Eventbrite at prices ranging from $25–$100 depending on which days you'd like to attend and what other extras you'd like to participate in. TechRaptor will be there yet again, so make sure to follow our coverage of the games shown this year!
