Popcap games have announced that on July 1st they are going to release another free DLC update to their squad based third-person shooter, Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare.

The new DLC will be called Tactical Taco Party and will add a new map, a new gametype and an eight vs eight playlist across all of the current modes.

The new map will be called Jewel Junction, this is the full console release of the PC timed exclusive from when the game launched last week. Then to change things the 8v8 playlists will be released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One July 1st and PC players will have to wait a week before they are able to access it. The two new character variants are both sponsored by Aquafin FlavorSplash and they will be a Berry Shooter and the Citrus Cactus. There seems to be no actual Aquafin branding within the game or on the character skins though.

This makes the third free DLC that Popcap has released for this game since its release in February showing great commitment to the franchise and the fan base.
