Rumors have been swirling for a long while about a new Plants Vs Zombies title and a leaked trailer seems to confirm that the next major game will be called Plants Vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville. While it's no surprise that this game is in development as there has been a fair share of rumors and leaks about the titles this new trailer is just the latest in a line of slip-ups.

Note: EA is removing all copies of this trailer so if the trailer above is missing that's why

Initially appearing on the internet a few days ago this trailer shows off all of the different Plants and Zombie characters that we're familiar with, as well as a few new ones. At the moment the trailer still seems somewhat early as we get to see placeholder concept art in places. Brief glimpses of gameplay show over the shoulder third-person shooting like the previous Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare games.

History of Battle for Neighborville Leaks

Word of this game initially began last month when an official EA website for the game went up detailing some of the features. While this information has since been removed images of it were uploaded to Reddit.

Then at the end of last month when a closed alpha test for a new Plants Vs Zombies game codenamed 'Picnic' appeared over on Resetera. While little information was actually revealed about what the email contained it seems at least that the game will be on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was after that Electronic Arts trademarked the title Plants Vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville in Europe adding further fuel to the fire.

Are you looking forward to another entry in the Plants Vs Zombies third-person shooters? Is there anything more you've seen about the game?
