It looks like the upcoming re-release of classic Williams tables is going to have a bit of Zen Studios flair. Medieval Madness, Junk Yard and The Getaway: High Speed II will all ship on October 9th, and you get two iterations of each table for $10. As already announced, one will be the classic iteration of the table with physics to match.

The other will be a Pinball FX interpretation, complete with the same 3D characters and visual effects you'd expect from their other releases. This updated table will have the standard Pinball FX physics. Both versions of each table will support all of the game's features. You can toggle between the two physics models at any time, and the most hardcore pinball wizards will be able to enjoy a mode based on tournament rules as sanctioned by the International Flipper Pinball Association.

As seen in the above trailer, the added effects will vary from table to table. On Medival Madness, you'll see the dragon guarding Tina Fey come to life alongside an animated catapult. Junk Yard seems to have gotten the biggest upgrade, with ten new objects added to the playfield. Each upgraded table also feature relevant wall art that extends each classic's unique character. Best of all, you'll be able to switch between each graphics style at the push of a button a-la Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

If you want to sample everything the Williams DLC has to offer, Zen Studios is providing free access to Fish Tales to all Pinball FX3 players. If you're already playing the game on Steam, you can sample the remastered versions of all four tables in the ongoing open beta. You have until September 24th to test out these versions and share your thoughts on the Steam community forums.
