Have you ever wanted to be one half of a two-headed, two-handed physical abomination before? Well, now your dreams can come true. Chasing Rats Games has announced a brand new physics-based co-op platformer called Struggling, in which two players must work together controlling one arm each of a hideous monstrosity. Using each arm independently the players must move the horrific creature across underground tunnels, through sewer pipes, across living terrain, and even on daring motorbike sections.
Struggling features a very cartoony graphics as can be seen in the trailer down below, and seems to have a comedic vibe to it. At least it does if you find the image of a two-headed ball with arms constantly screaming as it rolls around diseased looking tunnels and sewers comedic. As well as traversing the landscape with some difficulty, the game tasks players with solving a variety of different logic and physics puzzles to advance through the storyline. You also have to interact with some other grotesque monstrosities along the way, including a giant fleshy growth found deep underground and weird screeching mushrooms.
It seems like the creature in Struggling will also feature the ability to regrow its two appendages, which may come in useful on the journey. The world is littered with hazards as well as monsters and puzzles. You must contend with toxic goo, exploding barrels and it even looks like crashing planes might factor into events. Struggling will be launching on both PC and MAC via Steam this coming Fall. Check out the trailer below for more info or you can check out the developers at their official website.
