The next indie reveal at the PC Gaming Show is Cris Tales, this is a love letter to classic JRPG. You'll be able to see your decisions change the world in real time. It is your goal in this game to use your visions of the future in order to stop the rule of the Empress and the end of the world.

Accompanying the announcement was a trailer. You can experience the past, present, and future simultaneously as a way to alter the story. Cris Tales will be available to play in 2020 but there is a demo available on Steam today. This game is being developed by Modus Games. Learning more about the game you need to guide protagonist Crisbell through the classic turn-based combat. There are even opportunities where you can time your magic and alter your foes timeline. This change in your enemies placement in time can give you all kinds of advantages during battle.

As you progress through the game you will visit five different regions including the Kingdom of Crystallis and the slums of Saint Clarity. Each time you change time, for better or worse, you're able to immediately see the effect on the world around you through traditionally animated graphics.

Cris Tales is going to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2020. While there are no further details at the moment you can visit the official website or follow Modus games on Twitter. The demo mentioned above will only be available to download from Steam until the 24th of June so if you're interested in the title be sure to go and pick up that while you can.
