The Level Up Contest was announced at the PC Gaming Show this year. The Level Up Contest is a contest for independent developers that will give them a chance to become "the next big thing" for Intel. Several companies are participating in the contest, including Green Man Gaming, Epic Games, and Razer. There will also be several influential developers participating in the Level Up Contest, including Double Fine head Tim Schafer. Gamers can participate to try and help or influence the devs to assist with making their games as well. The nominees will be judged at PaX West where a winner will be decided. What the winner will receive is still a mystery.
