Originally announced as Project Blue Streak, Lawbreakers was next up to bat. CEO Cliff Bleszinski (a.k.a. Cliffy B) joined Day 9 on the stage to talk about the game. Cliffy B stated that Lawbreakers is not going to have a "marketing beta" - they're actually factoring in player feedback and making changes to the game where appropriate.
Following the short chat about the beta and the announcement of the release date, a video came in where a bunch of YouTubers talked about their thoughts regarding the game. One of the core features that was emphasized was the high mobility and low gravity of the game meant that you could be attacked from any direction. Players used moves such as grappling underneath the map and flanking their opponents from behind in a flurry of fast-paced, intense gunplay. Lawbreakers will have a "Rise Up" PC beta taking place from June 28 - July 3, 2017. You can sign up for it right now for either PC or PlayStation 4 by heading over to this page. Additionally, Boss Key Productions will be running several giveaways in the near future. Among the prizes will be Nvidia GTX 1080ti graphics cards, Logitech G peripherals, and a replica Cronos helmet that was crafted by Henchmen Studios. They advise that you keep an eye on the company's social media channels to find out more details about the opportunities to win these prizes.
If you're looking forward to Lawbreakers, you won't have to wait for too long - it will release on August 8th, 2017 on PC and PlayStation 4 for $29.99 or your regional equivalent. You'll be able to pre-order the game from each platform's respective store starting this Tuesday, June 13, 2017 according to a news post on the game's official website.
