Funcom has brought the Australian developer Mighty Kingdom to talk about Conan Chop Chop, a silly game that was first thought to be an April Fool's joke.

This brand-new game has players commanding adorable chibi characters from the Conan universe from a mildly isometric perspective. This roguelite game will be packed with a lot of action and challenge despite its adorable style. 1–4 players can enter into battle, choosing to play as a chibi version of Conan The Barbarian himself or one of his mighty allies.

The evil wizard Thoth-Amon is planning on resurrecting Xaltotun, an ancient evil that will be a Very Bad Thing™ for the rest of the world. It's up to Conan and friends to put a stop to his plans, and you'll do that by chop-chopping the bad guys to pieces with all of your mighty swordsman skills!

There's a bit more to this game than it first seems, too. You'll be able to purchase new equipment from merchants or find all sorts of amazing treasure as you venture into enemy territory! The game provides a pretty large world that's much larger than it first seems, giving you a lot of freedom to explore where you will.

You'll be able to get Conan Chop Chop for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 3, 2019. No price has been yet announced. You can watch the Conan Chop Chop Trailer for yourself below to see this very real game in action. You can also add this game to your wishlist on Steam.

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
