PC Building Simulator 2 is back with a brand new update, bringing new components and official partners to the simulator. There's also a brand new custom cable shop in which you can customize your very own cables of many colors and add them to your build for an extra wow factor.

Since its launch last OctoberPC Building Simulator 2 has been receiving a steady drip-feed of new components and features. Today, it's time for update 1.2, which brings a custom cable shop that lets you order cables in lots of different colors. You can customize cable sleeve colors, materials, and much more to suit your particular build.

PC Building Simulator 2 is also getting two new partners in this update, the first of which is New Jersey-based tech firm PNY. You might recognize PNY's name from its range of Nvidia GPU boards, as well as its memory range, and both ranges are represented in the game. In addition to PNY, Steiger Dynamics also joins PC Building Simulator 2, so you can now use the company's iconic chassis options to build a home theater-style PC.

The latest line of AMD GPUs have also been added in this update, so you can slot RX 7900 XT and XTX cards into your rig if you want to. That's in addition to Nvidia's RTX 4080 FE and an expanded range of DDR5 options, all of which should hopefully go some way towards assuaging the pain of not being able to get these parts in real life.

Be sure to take a look at the full list of parts that have been added in this latest PC Building Simulator 2 update. PC Building Simulator 2 is available to buy right now on PC via the Epic Games Store, so give it a look if you want to try building the rig of your dreams.
