If you're a fan of Payday: The Heist or Payday 2, there's something cool on the way: Payday Crime War is a new standalone first-person shooter and it's launching its beta on Android next month.
Payday: Crime War was first revealed in early 2017; it was later officially announced later that same year. Since then,m things have been relatively quiet on the Payday front (save for the occasional Payday 2 update); now PopReach Corporation is ready to reveal its new game. Take a look at the trailer to see it in action!
Payday Crime War is set in the Payday universe and offers up many of the same mechanics and gameplay that you'd expect to see, albeit with one notable difference: this is a free-to-play mobile game. No details on the game's monetization model have been revealed just yet.
Choice of platform aside, the trailer indicates that all of the key elements are there. You'll have to carefully plan out your heist and then execute it with your crew, potentially fighting off cops if things go sideways. It looks pretty interesting at first glance, and it won't be too hard to check it out for yourself as it's a free-to-play game.
When is the Payday Crime War Beta Start Date?
The Payday Crime War beta start date is sometime in early December 2021 for Android. It should be noted, however, that it's not quite going to be the standard beta -- you'll have to fill out a survey to sign up for it. You have until December 1, 2021, to fill out the survey if you're interested in playing.
As for iOS players, worry not -- the game is arriving on that platform, too, although it looks like it might be coming at a later date. Apple mobile gamers should fill out the same survey before the deadline is up; notification about the game's beta for that platform will arrive in the future.
When is the Payday Crime War Release Date?
The Payday Crime War release date will be sometime in 2022; a more specific release date has not yet been announced.
This new Payday game looks like it might do a pretty solid job of bringing the classic heist gameplay to mobile. It'll be a few more weeks at least before the beta launches on Android; in the meantime, you can learn more about Payday Crime War on its official website.
