Looking to give yourself more customization options for your hero? A new mod for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Owlcat Games' newest video game based on the tabletop RPG system, allows players to pick from over four hundred high-quality portraits for creating your hero and custom companions.

Created by BigFaTlaDy and uploaded by ChungK1ing, the Heroes of Stolen Lands mod gives players more options for customizing their character's appearance. More specifically, it gave players about 456 new high-quality portraits that are "lore and art friendly," although there are also some portraits somewhat outside of the Pathfinder universe, just in case players want to do something unique. The art for these pictures was done by "various artists," and include a wide variety of races and classes. We've got your classic fantasy races like dwarves, elves, and the ever-present humans. However, there are also some of the more exotic races like dhampir, aasimar, and kitsune, one of which looks suspiciously like Maid Marian from Disney's Robin Hood. Some may remember a similar mod existed for Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Owlcat Games' previous game in the franchise. Heroes of Stolen Lands is an updated version of that mod, with new races added for the ones added in Wrath of the Righteous.

The mod is very easy to use install. After installing it, you have to extract it into the 'Portraits' folder for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous within your Steam folders. Once you do, you can access the portraits in-game by selecting the 'Custom' tab when choosing a portrait. The mod is currently on version 2.2, and 2.3 will be available "soon," along with a list of recommended mods and an FAQ.

The Heroes of Stolen Lands mod can be found on Nexus Mods. Meanwhile, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
