Frostkeep Studios has announced that Rend has left Early Access and has fully launched on Steam. The online fantasy survival game will be available at a limited time introductory price of $9.99 until April 26. Since entering onto the Early Access scene in July of 2018, Rend has had many significant patches and updates that the developers believe have made it ready to finally be released from Early Access. Several major game content updates have brought a number of new features to Rend, including new game modes, player abilities, artifact weapons, siege weapons, creatures, and biomes.

Jeremy Woods, Co-Founder, and CEO of Frostkeep Studios spoke about the launch from early access saying:

We said from the beginning we would remove the Early Access tag from Rend within a year of hitting Steam. We introduced Rend as a fully developed game experience with room for growth and advancement so we could work alongside players to determine the best direction and evolution for the game. Today’s final version of Rend is the direct result of this valuable feedback and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support of our players, community and partners throughout the development process.
Pulling inspiration from Norse mythology to build its world and bring it to life, Rend merges several genres for a unique experience. Players can choose one of three factions to join in Faction War mode or go it solo if they desire in Classic and Exploration modes in their quest to survive in the dangerous and chaotic world of Midgard. You'll need to gather resources and obtain powerful artifacts if you hope to survive for long. Talent trees and skill systems will allow you to play in a way that fits your style and personality.

You can pick up Rend now on Steam here for $9.99 until April 12 where it will go back to its full price of $29.99.
