Bandai Namco's hotly-anticipated theme park management sim Park Beyond is only a couple of months away from release, and the studio has just released a brand new gameplay trailer to show off more of the management gameplay before we finally get our hands on it in June. The trailer is typically vibrant and shows off Park Beyond's maps, management systems, and more.
In a recent dev diary, Park Beyond's composer and music producer said that developer Limbic Entertainment saw the game as "more than just a management [sim]". Don't worry, though; the new gameplay trailer shows off lots of management, including the building and maintenance of rides, the overall structure of the park, and lots more. You can take a look at the new trailer here.
The new trailer promises that in Park Beyond, "every aspect of creating amusement parks will be under your control". From the layout and shape of the paths through to the ticket prices for each ride, you'll have full creative control over your park. The game's maps will be "huge", according to the trailer, and you'll be able to build on them wherever you like.
Of course, as well as its main campaign, Park Beyond will also feature a sandbox mode, where you can tweak settings and map style to your liking. If you want to make your park on a tight budget, you can, but if you'd rather just let loose with unlimited funds, that's an option too. Rather amusingly, the new trailer also promises the chance to "go beyond the laws of physics" when constructing rides in sandbox mode.
All in all, the new Park Beyond trailer looks pretty swish, and if you're a fan of theme park management games, this is likely to be one to watch for you. Park Beyond launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on June 16th.
