Assemble Entertainment has announced that Xel and Itorah, two of its most "visually stunning" adventures, have been released on consoles. Previously only available on PC, they're both now on certain console ecosystems with launch discounts, so if you've been waiting to check 'em out, now's your chance.

First up, epic sci-fi adventure Xel is now available on PlayStation consoles, and you can grab it at 20% off on those platforms right now. The game's new DLC pack, Breaking Time, is also available today, adding around three hours of new puzzles, challenges, and music to the game. You can grab that on PC and Switch, but it doesn't appear to be on PlayStation just yet. You can take a look at a trailer showing the game off on PlayStation right here.

As well as Xel, Assemble is also marking the console release of 2D Metroidvania platformer Itorah today. Based on Mesoamerican themes and aesthetics, Itorah takes players to the land of Nahucan, where a plague is threatening to destroy everything and everyone. You'll guide Itorah, the only human in the land, across Nahucan in order to put a stop to the plague.

A console release trailer for Itorah has also been unveiled, showcasing the game's gorgeous art style and fluid Metroidvania gameplay. You can check that trailer out here.

Itorah is available across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch, and, of course, you can also play it on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S thanks to the wonders of backwards compatibility. The game is available at 25% off if you're playing on PlayStation or Switch, and if you're an Xbox owner, you'll get 20% off. That's not too shabby.

Xel is available right now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, as well as PC and Switch. It'll cost you $18.99. Itorah, meanwhile, can be enjoyed on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, and will set you back $19.99 on each platform. Be sure to pick these games up if you're looking for something to treat your eyeballs with this weekend.
