A Stadia Pac-Man game has been announced and is set to launch next month, but there's a demo you can play today! Strangest of all, this celebration of the Pac-Man 40th anniversary is a Battle Royale.
Google Stadia will be giving players the opportunity to play three games for free over the next three days. Two of the games were already pretty well-known, but a new title is kicking off Google Stadia's Three Days of Demos: Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle.

What is the Stadia Pac-Man Game?
The Stadia Pac-Man game is a Battle Royale experience. 64 players will face off against one another until only one Pac-Man remains in the bunch! This won't just be a rehash of the classic gameplay, either — new power-ups, character customization, and mazes will be debuting with this game.
Furthermore, Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle will feature support for Stadia Crowd Control. Spectators will be able to vote on power-ups that can cause some trouble in the game. Aside from Elimination Mode, one other unnamed game mode will be available at launch.
Stadia's Three Days of Demos
Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle will be the first of three demos available to Stadia owners over the next three days. Here's what Stadia owners can play for free this week:
- Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle Demo – October 20–October 27 at 12:00 PM EDT
- Humankind Beta – October 21–? (tentatively October 28)
- Immortals Fenyx Rising Demo —October 22–? (tentatively October 29)
The Stadia Pac-Man game will only be available for a week; presumably, the other two demos will be available for roughly the same amount of time.
When is the Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle Release Date?
The Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle release date is November 17, 2020. The game will exclusively debut on Stadia at the price of $19.99 or your regional equivalent.
