Blizzard Entertainment revealed the latest addition to their line of collectible statues: D.Va from Overwatch will be joining the roster of characters represented by physical statues.
A video was released showing off the statue in close detail. It covers some of the statue's key selling points and intersperses various cinematic footage of D.Va from the Overwatch theatrical trailer, the Heroes of the Storm trailer where she was added as a character, and her highlight intros.

The Overwatch D.Va Statue is hand-sculpted and hand-painted. The store page cautions that due to the nature of the creation process there will be slight variances between individual statues. It stands at 19 inches (48.26 centimeters) tall and the statue's base is 13.5 inches (34.29 centimeters) in diameter. The statues were sculpted by Dominic Qwek & Ehren Bienert and they were painted by Laurel Austin. Overwatch Assistant Art Director Arnold Tsang contributed to the creation as Art Director for the project.
The existence of the statue was briefly leaked yesterday in a video that was quickly taken down. However, Twitter user @hanjosi managed to get a screengrab at the time. It will be joining a roster that includes just three of the 24 characters in the game (Tracer, Reaper, and Widowmaker). Other characters from Blizzard's franchises such as Illidan Stormrage have gotten the premium statue treatment in the past.
Shipping for the Overwatch D.Va Statues is estimated to be taking place sometime in the fourth quarter of 2017, meaning that odds are good you can get your hands on one before the holidays. Customers are limited to no more than two statues apiece, and no coupons or promotions (such as free shipping) can be applied to the order. If you're serious about getting one of these for yourself, be prepared to fork over a pretty penny: the D.Va Statue costs $450 plus shipping.
