The next Outriders update has some very good news for players frustrated by the game's grind: the Outriders Legendary Drops rate is going to be increased by 100%, and that's just the start.

Outriders is a co-op PVE shooter for up to 3 players from People Can Fly and Square Enix. The planet of Enoch is filled with deadly enemies — and even deadlier players. Using a mix of sci-fi superpowers and very big guns, you'll explore the land and complete all sorts of quests along the way. Now, the developers have announced that it will soon become easier than ever to get your hands on some really good loot.

How Outriders Legendary Drops Are Changing in the Next Outriders Update

Let's start with the big one: Outriders Legendary Drops will soon appear 100% more often as part of the next Outriders update. Yes, People Can Fly has just doubled the Legendary Drop Rate. That's far from the only improvement, though!

Another change on the way is the removal of "level brackets" — you won't have to target enemies of a specific level (or higher) to get that particular piece of gear you've been searching for when the next patch launches. Another upcoming change is the "Legendary Anti-Duplication System" which should make it much less likely that you'll get an item if you already have it in your inventory or stash.

Finally, the Luck system is getting some improvements to reduce the chances of long periods of time without getting your hands on Outriders Legendary Drops. An "Appreciation Package" will be rolled out to players once again to thank them for sticking with the game as it finds its footing.

These are just some of the changes coming in the next Outriders patch as reported by PC Gamer; check out the latest known issues thread for a full list of what's to come. If you haven't yet jumped into the game, you can buy Outriders for PC and consoles via its official website starting at $59.99 or your regional equivalent.
