Megan Spurr, the Community Lead at Xbox Game Pass, has announced that Xbox Game Pass' upcoming lineup is a doozy, with Outriders, Undertale, Octopath Traveler, Torchlight III, Empire of Sin, and more coming soon. The biggest news of of course is Octopath Traveler coming to Xbox Game Pass, which marks the first time it's being released on an Xbox console.

What's Being Added to Xbox Game Pass?

  • Undertale (Cloud, Console, and PC) - available today: This game almost needs no introduction. Players fall into an underworld and explore a world that allows you to date a skeleton, dance with a robot, or destroy everyone.
  • Empire of Sin (Cloud, Console, and PC) - March 18: a strategy game set in 1920s Prohibition-era Chicago, where players interact with real gangsters like Al Capone as they build and manage their criminal empire.
  • Nier: Automata (PC) – March 18: Mechanical beings from another world has driven humanity from Earth. You are part of a final effort to take back Earth from the invaders.
  • Star Wars: Squadrons (Console) EA Play – March 18: Fight the New Republic as the Galactic Civil is tearing the galaxy apart. This game will be soon available for both EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
  • Torchlight III (PC) – March 18: Defend Novastraia once again from the Netherim and its allies in this Diablo-like ARPG.
  • Genesis Noir (Console and PC) - March 25: A noir adventure that spans time and space. A jealous god fires a gunshot known as The Big Bang, and its up to you to destroy creation and save your love. Interestingly, this is a one-day exclusive to Xbox Game Pass before everyone else gets it on March 26 for PC/Mac, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Epic Games Store.
  • Octopath Traveler (Console and PC) – March 25: Eight travelers with eight roles go on eight adventures to save the world of Orsterra as the game makes its non-Switch console debut with the Xbox release.
  • Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition (PC) - March 25: The sequel to the beloved Pillars of Eternity, Deadfire has players exploring a world full of possibilities in this tactical RPG experience.
  • Supraland (PC) - March 25: Save the red-stick village in this open-world, first-person, action-puzzle platformer.
  • Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (Cloud, Console and PC) – March 25: You are Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima. With Haruka in a coma, you now have to protect Haruto, her son.
  • Narita Boy (Cloud, Console and PC) - March 30: This is a action-adventure title where the player takes the shoes of a legendary pixel hero trapped within the Digital Kingdom.
  • Outriders (Cloud and Console) – April 1: Survive a savage planet in this 1-3 player co-op (and single-player) title. This is a high-profile same-day release title, and it's too bad Microsoft didn't lock this down for PC as well.

What are the DLC and Game Updates?

  • Minecraft x Uniqlo Skin Pack, Vol.2: This is free starting today, and includes all new t-shirt designs and Steteco shorts, plus new mobs.
  • Sea of Thieves Third Anniversary Event – March 18 to March 21: March 20 marks the third anniversary for Sea of Thieves. Celebrate by logging in between March 18 and March 21 to receive the Jump for Joy emote or free.
  • The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos DLC – March 17: Xbox Game Pass members save 10% on the final narrative expansion from Obsidian Entertainment's latest RPG.

What is Leaving Xbox Game Pass?

On March 31st, three games are leaving Xbox Game Pass:

  • Hyperdot (Console and PC)
  • Journey to the Savage Planet (Console)
  • Machinarium (PC)
