Glumberland has announced an Ooblets release date. The cutesy farming and life sim is headed to Switch, as well as releasing in full on PC and Xbox, this September, and it'll sport a "complete overarching story" when it lands as well.
When is the Ooblets release date?
Rejoice, for Ooblets is soon leaving Early Access and entering the big scary world of being finished (for now, anyway). The Ooblets release date is September 1st. The game has been available in Early Access on PC and via Game Preview on Xbox for a while now, but until now we haven't had an Ooblets Switch release date. Now, though, you can breathe easy if you've been waiting for Glumberland's adorable-looking life sim to arrive on your Switch, because your wait is almost over.

What can we expect from Ooblets 1.0?
We've come a long way since the days of Ooblets' Early Access release. Since it launched back in 2020, Ooblets has received a number of content updates adding new weather elements, new Ooblets, and new areas and fishing spots, among other things. All of the content that's been added as part of these Early Access updates will, of course, be present in Ooblets 1.0, and you can also expect a full storyline that will introduce you to the crazy world of the Ooblets.

If you're unfamiliar with Ooblets, here's a quick rundown. It's a farming sim, life sim, and creature collection game all rolled into one. You'll need to grow and maintain your farm, explore distant lands to acquire resources, and train your Ooblets to help you around your farm (and perform various other tasks). Charmingly, your Ooblets can also take part in "dance-off" competitions, where they'll dance-battle for supremacy against other Ooblets. It's just as cute and quirky as it sounds.
Ooblets is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC (via the Epic Games Store) on September 1st. It'll be the culmination of six years' worth of development, so if you've been holding out for a full release, there's not much longer to wait now.
