Bandai Namco has announced a couple of new features coming to One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows.

First up, the game will feature a character creator. You'll be able to make your very own avatar and experience their personal legend. The main mode of One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows will involve training, completing missions for various characters, and battling your way up the Hero Association ranks. Along the way, you'll need to be on the lookout for random events during battles, including supervillain interference and asteroid crashes. Check out the new gameplay trailer for One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows:

In addition to the character creator, One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is also getting a closed beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (no closed beta for PC players, unfortunately). Between November 1st and November 4th, you'll be able to get a first taste of the game. The closed beta will allow you to battle both AI opponents and players. You can sign up to the closed beta program here. You will need to be a member of Bandai Namco's Ep!c rewards program. Keys are limited, so get your applications in now if you want to get one - it's first come, first serve. The closed beta session times are as follows:

  • Session 1 - November 1st, 11 am to 1 pm CEST
  • Session 2 - November 2nd, 7 am to 9 am CEST
  • Session 3 - November 2nd, 10 pm to midnight CEST
  • Session 4 - November 3rd, 10 pm to midnight CEST

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is an upcoming fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco. It's based on the popular One-Punch Man manga series. You'll be able to play the game on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One when it launches, although we don't yet have a release date.
