Halo The Series Trailer

The Halo the Series trailer just dropped, and it looks awesome. Spartans, Warthogs, Elites with Energy Swords? What more could fans of Halo ask for?

Announced in 2015, but having switched directors and changes that led to delays - the show centers around the series' main character, Master Chief on an all-new journey. Check out the brand-new Halo the Series trailer below:

Note: It looks like the above only plays for US readers. Check this link for an alternative.

Normally, we'd reserve some commentary for the "Quick Take" but as the site owner I'll take some liberty to say...this looks awesome. Between the clear care that's been taken in recreating weapons, gear, and even the inclusion of jackals with their annoying little shields - it definitely looks like Halo fans have even more to look forward to in March.

This isn't the first time that Halo's been on viewers' screens, as most gamers will remember. Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn was a miniseries released in 2012 on YouTube, and follows Thomas Lasky on the UNSC Infinity, and portrays his memory of events when he was a cadet. It's the first time we saw live-action Halo, and a little under 10 years later it's great to see Halo back on the non-gaming medium.

Pablo Schreiber will play Master Chief, Jen Taylor reprises her role as Cortana, and we'll see familiar faces like Dr. Halsey, Captain Keyes, and some new faces we've not yet seen. Safe to say, probably a lot of Covenant too,

Now, as for Halo the Series you'll need Paramount+ to watch the show, of course. If you don't already have it, it's pretty similar to Hulu's pricing. $4.99/mo gets you everything with limited commercials and $9.99/mo gets you everything with (mostly) no ads.
