Observer: System Redux has been hyped up as a next-gen enhancement of a super-spooky game, and we're finally getting our first look at the shiny new graphics of this terrifying thriller!
Let's get right to it: check out the Observer: System Redux Next-Gen Reveal Trailer to enjoy the shiny-new graphics in all of its 4K 60FPS glory:
If you happen to be unfamiliar with Observer, you've missed out on one of the scariest games in recent memory. Far into the future of 2084, the only hope of surviving some crimes is through the use of the titular Observers, specially-trained detectives who can hack into and invade the minds of suspects.
Unfortunately, some of these people you are hacking into aren't quite all that... stable. Suffice it to say, you're going to encounter a lot of weird things when you're floating around in their head, and that's where the fantastic frights come in.
Observer was pretty well received on its original release — it currently holds a respectable "Very Positive" rating on Steam — and now a new version of this cyberpunk horror game is on the way for next-generation consoles.
When is the Observer: System Redux Release Date?
If you're one of those people who enjoys scaring the crap out of themselves, then Observer: System Redux must look pretty tantalizing to you. When will you be able to get it?
Unfortunately, Bloober Team has declined to announce a specific release date. We do know that the game will be making its way to next-gen consoles sometime around the Holiday 2020 season.
We also don't yet know how this game will be coming to PC (or if it will come to PC at all, either). The first game did pretty well on that platform, so here's hoping that we see this fantastic new version make its debut there, too. In the meantime, you can buy the original game on Steam for $29.99 or your regional equivalent.
