Recently the folks over at NIS America put on a virtual press showcase to provide the scoop on their further line-up for both the rest of this year and early 2023. While the publisher was keen to demonstrate several titles including GrimGrimoire OnceMore, Monster Menu: The Scavenger's Cookbook, and Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society, there were several other titles briefly talked about during the presentation.

These titles, for the most part, have all been previously announced in some form or another, and some are even close to release. Most of this will just serve as a reminder that NIS America has a lot of neat games coming to their portfolio along one with one brand-new announcement. There’s a lot to unpack here so let’s get to it.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure continues the long-running Nihon Falcom series with its English version set to launch on March 14, 2023, in North America, March 17 in Europe, and March 24 in Australia/New Zealand. As the finale of the series’ “Crossbell arc,” Trails to Azure is being penned as a key title in this universe. There’s plenty to come for protagonist Lloyd Bannings and his many allies.

There’s plenty to explore in new combat features such as the Burst, Back Attack, and even a customizable car. Trails to Azure will also feature familiar characters from the Trails of Cold Steel series. You’ll also be able to import your save data from Tales from Zero to trigger a different story experience – the likes of which include additional conversations and alternate dialogue.

Additionally, save data from Trails to Azure will transfer to the upcoming Trails into Reverie for even more bonuses.

This PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch title is coming out sometime in Spring 2023. Void Terrarium 2 is a rogue-lite game that allows the player to level up weapons as they progress through dungeons. Mastering these weapons is the key here.

There are unique features such as the Mystery Rooms accessed by yellow portals. These rooms offer up rare chests including powerful equipment, new abilities, or even ultra-rare skills. Void Terrarium 2 is also heavy on customization options with new clothes, hairstyles, and accessories for protagonist Toriko.

The other goal involves maintaining the humidity and temperature of your terrarium by planting seeds and helping them to grow. Players can then harvest these plans and use them to decorate.

Process of Elimination

Process of Elimination is a detective adventure coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Spring 2023. Here you’ll team up with 13 other detectives who each have their own skill sets and personalities. The goal is to explore key locations around the island of Morgue and make choices to obtain the proper evidence to further your case.

Using an ability called “Denouement,” you can absorb critical information, predict the future and gather clues whilst investigating each murder.

This isn’t just some walk in the park; the island of Morgue plays host to dangerous areas including a maze, a research facility, and the Detective Alliance’s manor.

Specifically, Laxia’s school swimsuit and Greek summer costumes from the PlayStation Vita release as well as the Instructor Rean Hug-Hug item from the PlayStation 4 version. These items will be available for free as exclusive DLC.
