The next Nintendo Indie World Showcase will be tomorrow at 9 A.M. PT for roughly 20 minutes of information on indie games that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

There's been a few Indie World Showcases, with the latest one this March and around 20 minutes of information, just like the one that's coming up. There were a whole bunch of games that were announced, which is what the Nintendo Switch desperately needs at this point: new games. This year has been unusually barren so far, and Nintendo Switch fans are ready for anything that's new at this point.

Of course, that doesn't mean we won't get anything new, but considering there's 240 people waiting for a Showcase that won't air for another 26 hours, you can bet that people are really hoping that this will be a good Showcase. We'll see.

Quick Take

I really like these types of announcements. They are right to the point and there's no cringey showmanship that wastes everyone's time. Of course, a lot of Nintendo's announcements recently have been a waste of time, but that should change anytime now, right? Regardless, it seems to be a running trend this year, where all game companies are waiting for... something (maybe the pandemic to end?). For Nintendo, they probably don't have much and are content to wait until they're ready, and Sony and Microsoft are waiting for each other to blink before revealing release dates and prices for their next-gen consoles. Hopefully this will end soon, because like everyone else I'm getting sick of waiting.

What do you think of this announcement? Are there any indies that you want to see on the Nintendo Switch? Do you think tomorrow's Indie World Showcase will be worth watching? Let us know in the comments!

A very unflattering picture of my tired face.
