Players can choose between Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright or Conquest, or pick up both to experience both stories. The game chosen determines how players must deal with a corrupt kingdom - Birthright leading them to take down the king from the outside, while Conquest leads them to repair the kingdom from the inside. There will also be a third path for the main characters being released as DLC: Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation. The DLC will be available March 10th for players who have already picked up Conquest or Birthright. A special edition will be released which includes both of the main titles and the DLC in one cartridge, along with an art book and Nintendo 3DS XL pouch with a MSRP of $79.99. Players can start downloading maps for the Fire Emblem Fates on February 19 as well, either individually or they can purchase access to all maps currently released and to be released. Bravely Second End Layer 3DS 14

Bravely Second: End Layer is also getting a Collector's Edition in North America when it is released on April 15th. The Collector's Edition will include the game, the 10-song soundtrack on disc, and the art book, for $69.99. Before the official release, Nintendo is releasing a teaser on the eShop. The Ballad of the Three Cavaliers will have its own unique story leading into End Layer serving as a demo and allowing the player collect StreetPass bonuses which will carry over into the real game when it's out.

This year Nintendo is releasing several RPGs and there will be many other third-party RPGs released for the 3DS. The original Pokemon will be coming to Virtual Console on February 16th (including Pokemon Yellow), and on February 27th Dragon's Quest VII and VIII will be released there as well.
