Starting today and continuing for a week, Nintendo is offering 9 demos for indie games on the Nintendo eShop as part of their Nindies@Home promotion. This Nindies@Home promotion lasts until 9a.m. PST on June 22. The nine game demos on offer are:
- Extreme Exorcism
- Forma.8
- Freedom Planet
- Lovely Planet
- Mutant Mudds Super Challenge
- RIVE
- Runbow
- Soul Axiom
- Typoman
Also when the games fully launch you will get a 15 percent discount off the price of each game for a month after they release. Make sure your Nintendo Network ID is linked to the Wii U and Nintendo eShop before you download any of the demos to be eligible for the discount offer. Damon Baker, Nintendo of America’s Senior Marketing Manager of Publisher and Developer Relations, explained:
Independent developers continue to impress us with great digital games and experiences for the Nintendo eShop on Wii U, we want to give people at home a taste of the fun of E3, along with the chance to try some amazing games before they launch later this year.This is a great promotion for highlighting the indies on the Nintendo eShop, and for getting indies interested in being on the Nintendo eShop in the first place.
