Much like Super Mario Maker, it looks like Yoshi's Woolly World will be making the jump from Wii U to Nintendo 3DS. The newly renamed Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World will feature every stage from the original release. In addition, the game will feature new stages dedicated to Poochy, Yoshi's dog companion from past games in the Yoshi series.

In addition to stages where you control Poochy, the will be Poochy Pup eggs that act as helpers for Yoshi as he navigates through levels, pointing out points of interest as you go and acting as weapons when needed. You might need that help as some unspecified new features will be added to the existing stages, making this a new experience even for veterans of the original.
If that wasn't enough Poochy for you, you can now place Yarn Poochy onto your desk in amiibo form, either packed in with the game or available separately. The model for this amiibo will be based on Poochy's appearance in a series of animated shorts, 30 of which will be included with the final version of Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World.
Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World will be available on Nintendo 3DS on February 3rd, 2017.
