This upgraded version of a Game Boy classic certainly looks lovely and you won't have to wait too long to get it: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening release date is September 20, 2019.
There's a bit more here than just a graphical overhaul, of course! A new feature called "Chamber Dungeons" is being added in this game. Throughout the course of Link's Awakening, you'll collect rooms (yes, rooms) that are saved away for later. You can then take all of the rooms that you've collected and arrange them into something called a Chamber Dungeon. Finally, you can dive down into the dungeon that you've assembled and score some sweet loot!
I had some rather fond memories of the original Link's Awakening. (Well, right up until the moment that I got stuck on the second-to-last dungeon and couldn't figure out how to get myself unstuck.) A new generation will soon be able to enjoy one of the sleeper classics in the Zelda franchise: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening release date is September 20, 2019, for the Nintendo Switch. If you're in Europe, you may want to keep your eyes open for the pretty nice special edition that was revealed:
