It's already the morning of May 12 in Japan, which means that the country is already celebrating its Zelda Day with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
While we don't know how many actually called in sick to stay home and play the new game (but "ゲーム休暇" is trending on Twitter, meaning "Game Vacation"), Nintendo is celebrating the release with an extensive gameplay video featuring two rather special guests.
We get to see about eight minutes of gameplay starring Color Me True star Kentaro Sakaguchi and Before We Vanish actor Mahiro Takasugi at the controls, providing a look at what we can expect when we get to play tomorrow.
You can check it out for yourself below. Of course, the video is in Japanese, but I'm fairly sure most of you won't be all that interested in what Sakaguchi-san and Takasugi-san are saying with all the gameplay goodness rolling in front of your eyes.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom releases tomorrow, May 12, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
If you'd like to see more, you can take a look at a previous gameplay trailer on top of an older video. Another took a more live-action-focused road, showcasing the marvel at the wacky things you can do in the game.
Speaking of gameplay, an extensive gameplay showcase was revealed in March, presented by producer Eiji Aonuma himself. That's where you can see many of the interesting stuff that you can accomplish in the game, which appears to take the freeform nature of its predecessor, Breath of the Wild, and kick it up a notch pretty much in every aspect.
