NieR: Automata Ver1.1A Anime Gets English Trailer All About A2

NieR: Automata Anime A2

Aniplex released a trailer in English of the upcoming NieR: Automata Ver1.1a anime focusing on one of the most interesting characters featured in the popular game by Yoko Taro. 

The trailer focuses on A2, or YoRHa Type A No.2 protagonist of the game's branch C and YoRHa android prototype, a veteran of the 14th Machine War. 

She's voiced by Ayaka Suwa, whom you may know for her roles as  Lyra in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Negev in Girls' Frontline, and Tiare in Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness.

The anime is going to debut on January 7, and it'll be streamed on Crunchyroll in western countries where the service is available. 

It's animated by studio A-1 Pictures and directed by Ryoji Masuyama under the supervision of the franchise's creator Yoko Taro himself. The music will be composed by Keiichi Okabe’s studio MONACA, which is also behind the original soundtrack of the game. if you'd like to see more, you can check out another trailer from a few days ago and one focusing on the rather obscure character Lily.
