A Best Buy listing has seen Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 leaked. The kart racer will feature more than 40 iconic Nickelodeon characters, all of whom will have full voice acting. It'll arrive this October, and while we don't yet know which platforms it's coming to, a full PC and console release is likely.
What do we know about Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3?
The last entry in the Nickelodeon Kart Racers series launched for consoles in October 2020, with a PC release following in December. Now, it looks like Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 will follow suit. Prominent gaming leaker Wario64 spotted a Best Buy listing for the game earlier today, allowing customers to pre-order Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway for $49.99. The game is up for pre-order on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and Xbox, and although PC isn't listed, it's a safe bet Kart Racers 3 will arrive on PC as well.
What does the Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 roster look like?
We don't yet know what characters will appear in Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3, but we can make some educated guesses. The Best Buy listing promises tracks from SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and others, so naturally, characters from those franchises will also appear. Just like Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Kart Racers 3 will have full voice acting for its cast, with more than 40 characters on offer and over 90 "crew members" to give you new special abilities. The game will feature 36 different tracks and will take inspiration from Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed by allowing you to morph your car into a watercraft to navigate certain slimy paths and passageways.
If the Best Buy listing is to be believed, then Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway will launch for Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox on October 7th. A PC release will likely follow a month or two afterward, although since none of this has officially been announced yet, we'll have to wait and see on that front. Here's hoping we get to see some of the characters we missed out on when Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl came out.
