Today, Bandai Namco and Level-5 revealed that Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom's last DLC, The Tale of a Timeless Time, will be released on March 19, 2019, for PC and PlayStation 4. The DLC will include new characters, locations, new memories of Evan's friends, and more fighting methods for the player.

The DLC begins as a mysterious rabbit dressed in a tuxedo is apparently seen in people's dreams, returning from the first Ni no Kuni game. Following the rumor, Evan and his friends decide to investigate. When Evan falls asleep, he dreams and meets the rabbit. Evan must discover who the rabbit is and what's his objective.

“We at LEVEL-5 have been working hard the past several months on finalizing new content for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Today we are excited to share that we will be releasing a new chapter for Ni no Kuni II, ‘The Tale of a Timeless Tome.’ Players will gain a deeper understanding of their favorite characters, journey through new areas, and much more. We appreciate our fans’ patience and will have more to share soon.”

Included with the new storyline are the new methods to help players further customize their battles. One of the new methods, "Wizard's Companion", will be familiar to those who played Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Also included is the Solosseum Slog, a new battle arena that will challenge players against strong enemies. If players win, they will receive new items as a reward.

Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom's last DLC, The Tale of a Timeless Time, will be released on March 19, 2019, for the PC and PlayStation 4. It will be $14.99, or free for those who have bought the Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom Season Pass.
